My name is Art Van D’lay. I'm a Los Angeles based digital sculptor, working primarily in zbrush.
I drew as a child and then put it away, along with all childish things - and then somehow found my way back to it again at 42. Discovering ZBrush shortly thereafter sealed my fate entirely, and set me on the dubious course you'll find catalogued within.
My style is possibly best described as "Intentional Sensory Overload". Norman Rockwell meets Charles Manson, with a splash of PCP. My forever goal is to lure you into a synesthetic stupor. to bludgeon you with a cacophony of wonders and then hijack your weakened amygdala. Because Once inside, you are now my puppet. I make you cluck like a chicken. You cook me dinner and clean my garage. Naked. Remembering nothing.
